Mafatih

Mafatih is a content-focused mobile application built around a large structured digital library. We developed the application and its local data architecture to provide fast offline access to more than 700 content entries, with multilingual support, intelligent search, bookmarking, personalization and automatic content updates.

The Problem

The Challenge.

Large content libraries can become difficult to navigate when users have to depend on an internet connection or work through rigid reading interfaces.

Mafatih needed to make a substantial library accessible through a mobile experience where users could quickly discover content, search across the database, save frequently accessed entries and read comfortably without relying on connectivity.

The application also needed to handle multilingual content, long-form text and a large local dataset while keeping the experience simple and responsive.

Our Strategy

Our Approach.

We built the application around an offline-first architecture, making the local content database the foundation of the user experience rather than treating offline access as a fallback.

The experience was structured around fast content discovery, on-device search, bookmarks and favourites, customizable typography and simple navigation across a large library.

We also designed the data layer to support incremental updates. When connectivity is available, the application checks for newer content and synchronizes updates into the local database while preserving user-specific saved content and preferences

The Journey

The Solution.

Mafatih turns a large structured content library into an experience that is accessible anytime, anywhere.

Users can browse organized categories, open individual content, switch between available language content, adjust typography for different reading preferences, save frequently accessed entries and share selected passages directly from the application.

Search was designed to work entirely on the device. Users can search the local database across multiple title fields and indexed keywords without sending every query to a remote server. This keeps discovery fast and ensures search remains available without internet access.

The application also includes a digital counter, date information, account-based synchronization and background content updates. Its local Isar database is pre-populated with the core content library so the primary reading experience is available immediately after installation.

"The team understood what we needed from the application and handled the project with great attention to detail. What stood out was the reliability of the offline experience and the way the large amount of content was organized into something simple and easy to use. The search, reading controls and overall performance made the application exactly the kind of mobile experience we wanted to deliver."
