TSS
TSS is a mobile operations platform designed to bring warehouse, depot and store workflows into a single system. We designed and developed the Android application around inventory movement, stock visibility, quotations, requisitions and role-based operations, with an offline-first architecture that keeps essential workflows available even when connectivity is limited.
The Challenge.
Managing inventory across multiple warehouses, depots and stores can quickly become difficult when everyday operations depend on disconnected processes and limited access to real-time information.
The business needed a single application that could support different operational roles while keeping stock movement, product information, quotations and store requirements organized in one place.
The challenge was to create an experience that worked not only in connected environments, but also in locations where reliable internet access could not always be assumed.
Our Approach.
We started by mapping the different operational roles and the workflows each one needed to perform.
The application was designed around a role-based structure for Admin, Sub-Admin, Depot and Store users, giving each role access to the workflows relevant to its responsibilities.
We then built the system around an offline-first model, allowing core transactions to be recorded locally and synchronized with the central system when connectivity becomes available. This approach made reliability a part of the product architecture rather than an afterthought.
The Solution.
TSS brings day-to-day inventory operations into a single mobile experience.
Teams can manage products and variants, record stock in and stock out activity, transfer inventory between warehouses, monitor stock levels and maintain a clear ledger of stock movements.
The application also connects operational workflows beyond inventory. Store users can raise requirements, depot teams can manage stock movements, and quotations can be prepared with customer details, pricing, discounts, tax and multi-currency support before being exported and shared as professional documents.
Behind these workflows, the application uses a local SQLite data layer with queue-based synchronization, allowing transactions to continue offline and reconcile with the cloud once connectivity returns. Role-based access and approval flows ensure users see the areas relevant to their responsibilities.
